Bio

Wes is a veteran of nearly fifty years in financial markets having started at J.P. Morgan & Co. in 1975 he has lived through oil shocks, wars, market crashes, tech booms and busts and has seen the impact of dramatic change in developments around the world.

A former Managing Director, he held a variety of leadership roles within J.P. Morgan; as a number one ranked global fixed income portfolio manager, to global head of fixed income and debt, foreign exchange management, emerging markets, quantitative and economic research, trading and eventually as Global Head of Investments with oversight of all investment activities and professionals globally. He was also a member of the Executive Management Team of J.P. Morgan reporting to the Chairman.    

Since leaving JPM, Wes has developed a long track record in technologies across renewable energies (solar, wind, hydrogen, waste to energy, BESS), in conservation (former Chairman of Marine Mega Fauna and an African Bird Conservation Charity, former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Armouries, the UK’s oldest museum, former Advisory Board Member at Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), the UK’s oldest military and security think tank, Durham University’s Global security Institute, former CEO of a Hedge Fund and a number of other Board and Advisory Board positions.

Wes is currently working on green hydrogen, food security and other projects across Brazil, is a partner in Nevegy, a built space technology company that eliminates pathogens in commercial buildings and hospitals and is working on significant real estate projects globally using advanced modular buildings with high ESG and Wellness ratings. He also pioneered currency risk management for pension funds.
